I am an active listener, I try to maintain eye contact, avoid interrupting, and reflect on what I hear from my clients. I pride myself on being emotionally intelligent and self-aware, empathetic toward others, and having the ability to regulate my emotional responses.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was attracted to mental healthcare by personal family experiences and the struggles of mental healthcare and wanted to impact the lives of others with empathy and compassion. The desire to help others along with witnessing the positive impact of improving someone's overall well-being is a driving force.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting with clients by starting with open communication and actively listening to their needs. From there, I collaborate with the client to create goals that align with their objectives, while ensuring they feel empowered and invested in the process.

Our first session

During our first session, clients should expect to spend time discussing why they are seeking psychiatric services, providing details about their personal history and current challenges. I gather information to understand your situation and assess your needs, while also explaining policies regarding confidentiality.
