Hello! I am excited to meet you. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in California. I graduated from California State University San Bernardino with my Master’s Degree in Social Work. For over 10 years, I have been working with children, families, and individuals in the areas of case management, behavioral support, and mental health.
My approach
A bit about my approach to therapy: I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, strength-based, and empowerment model approaches. I have extensive experience in the following areas: foster care, domestic violence, trauma-informed practice, mental health advocacy, and many other areas. My areas of expertise include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, anger and stress management, grief and loss, relationship challenges, family systems, childhood trauma and abuse, parenting, spirituality & faith, and social skills.
My focus
The type of clients I typically work with are clients that are dealing with depression, anxiety, PTSD, substance abuse/dependence, co-dependency issues, domestic violence, child welfare, spirituality, and professionals to name some of the many clients I work with.
My communication style
My communication style is to create a safe environment for my clients to be themselves, and for them to feel free to share in a judgment-free zone.
My journey to mental healthcare
I was attracted to the field of therapy due to my love and desire to help those in need mentally. I have overcome many personal obstacles, that I know can benefit anyone that works with me. To see people's lives changed internally, and to see it reflected externally, is such a great honor. I am thankful to be a part of the impact and change in people's personal lives and overall mental wellness.
