Hello! I’m Quinsea, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker focusing on you, the individual, and all things that make us human. I enjoy indoor rock climbing, lifting weights, and my mini wiener dog, Gizmo.
My approach
For me, it’s important that I see you as unique and multi-faceted. I use a person-centered, strengths based approach. We can use tools such as Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to begin with.
My focus
I have an extensive background in working with clients affected by trauma including sexual assault, domestic violence and child abuse as well as formerly incarcerated folks, LGBTQIA+ and homeless individuals. I also work directly with folks experiencing chronic stress, anxiety and depression along with other serious mental health diagnosis.
My communication style
In a world where we are constantly on the go and need to perform, I strive to provide a safe, calm space where we only focus on you and your needs.
My goals for you
Our sessions are completely based on you and your goals and we discover these from open and honest conversations. I use Motivational Interviewing to help facilitate change.
