I work with adults and seniors who are struggling with anxiety, stress, trauma, loss, and grief. My goal is to help you make progress and start feeling better through compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to your unique needs.

My focus

I am committed to helping individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, or loss. I have worked extensively with people navigating these challenges and understand how they can lead to depression, anxiety, prolonged grief, substance misuse, and impaired physical health.

I base my therapy on your individual needs and what will work best for you. I use approaches that create a safe environment, lead to a shared understanding of your experiences, and move us toward your desired goals.

My communication style is client-centered, open, and tailored to your individual pathway toward healing and growth. I create a supportive environment where you can freely express your innermost thoughts and feelings without fear of criticism or judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was always drawn to helping people. I initially worked with children exposed to trauma and loss, and seeing their lives transform was the greatest reward. I have also found great joy in working with adults and seniors facing medical diagnoses or grieving the loss of a loved one.

My goals for you

I will work in collaboration with you to set goals that focus on your needs at any given time during the therapeutic process. Together, we will design and implement a plan that improves your overall functioning and empowers you to take charge of your life.

Our first session

During our first session, we will get to know one another. We will talk about your experiences, how you've been feeling lately, why you have been feeling this way, and how I can help. While you may feel nervous, I will provide guidance and support to help you feel comfortable.
