My journey to mental healthcare
I have been a social worker in California for over 20 years and have been supporting many individuals and families in the most challenging times of their lives. It brings meaning and fulfillment in my personal life witnessing their journey. As a therapist, I tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of my clients. The therapeutic relationship is built on trust, confidentiality, and mutual respect, which are fundamental to the success of the therapeutic journey.
My goals for you
As a therapist, I collaborate with clients to establish achievable goals and work together to develop strategies to reach them.
My first session with you
In their first therapy session, a client can expect to engage in discussions aimed at establishing a foundation for the therapeutic relationship and gathering relevant information. A typical first session includes introduction, initial assessment, open discussion, and building rapport. Overall, the first therapy session is an opportunity for the client to get to know myself and for me to gain a better understanding of the client's needs. It sets the groundwork for future sessions and begins the process of healing, growth, and self-discovery.
