Hello! My name is Teresa Bernabe and I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I specialize in seeing adults who suffer from depression and anxiety as well as those navigating the pregnancy and postpartum period.
My approach
I always take a collaborative approach to therapy, meaning you and I are working as a team to form your goals and hopes for treatment. Throughout the course of therapy, we check in to make sure you are on track to meet your goals and make any changes necessary. My theoretical approaches include CBT, DBT, solution-focused, interpersonal, and supportive therapy.
My focus
The clients I typically see are adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, pregnancy and postpartum concerns, life transitions, and those seeking concrete coping skills to use on a regular basis.
My communication style
I provide a warm, inviting (virtual) environment for my clients. I want our sessions to be a safe place where you can feel comfortable and most like yourself!
