My approach
My therapeutic approach integrates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment-based, Strength-based, Mindfulness-based, and Life Coaching.
My focus
I typically work with clients, that come in with anxiety, stress, relationship issues, and/or self-esteem issues.
My communication style
I provide a non-judgmental environment of empathy, support, and trust where my clients can safely and openly express themselves freely.
My journey to mental healthcare
I believe I was called to be a therapist. My initial drive was to help others increase empathy, compassion, and understanding for one another. I now find myself getting really excited about helping my clients improve their self-compassion, and self-love which naturally leads them to spread that compassion and love to others around them. It's really beautiful.
My goals for you
Goal setting is a collaborative experience. The client identifies their desired goals and we make the goals SMART (i.e., specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely) together.
My first session with you
Typically the first session is a time to get to know one another. The client will share what brings them to therapy, their strengths, their concerns, and their goals. I share my approach and answer any questions they may have.
