Hello, my name is Nicole M. Thweatt, LMHC, PhD. I enjoy providing an array of therapeutic services to those in need. I have been in the mental health field for over 15 years and love what I do!
My approach
I use an eclectic approach when helping others. Some of the main therapeutic approaches include cognitive-behavioral, brief-solution-focused, client-centered, and psycho-education. However, each session conducted will be personalized to fit your needs once an individualized treatment plan is established, which will take place at our first session.
My focus
My therapeutic background includes working with survivors of domestic violence, those enduring family conflict, trauma-related incidents, and emotional and behavioral matters including depression, anxiety, mood dysregulation (lack of anger control), low self-esteem, difficulties communicating to include social matters, etc.
My communication style
I take a very laid-back approach during the therapeutic process. I want all individuals to feel comfortable and not feel judged. Furthermore, one of the main significant goals I wish to help others with is to improve overall psychological, behavioral, social, spiritual, and developmental health, so that a more flourishing life can be lived and maintained. Every human being is meant to thrive and deserves to reach his or her destination. Please feel free to reach out so that I can help.
