Hi there, I'm D.Aida!

I am Aida Flores, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have over 15 years of clinical experience working with different ages and ethnic groups, addressing issues from anxiety, depression, interpersonal, self-esteem issues, stress at work and at home, and other sensitive issues people are currently dealing with at the present time.

My approach

My preferred therapeutic approaches are cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, client-centered, and eclectic ones.

My focus

I enjoy working with clients who have a sense of insecurity, feelings of inadequate self-esteem, thoughts of ongoing self-doubts, and lack of decision-making.

My communication style

I like to create a safe and open environment in order for the client to promote personal and emotional growth.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been attracted to people in general, primarily people from different cultures and different personalities. I love to help people reach their potential, succeed in their accomplishments, and become a better human being.

My goals for you

I usually set a treatment plan along with the client and set realistic goals that can be accomplished and give a sense of making progress on the client's objectives and needs.

My first session with you

The first session is the time for the client to build rapport with the psychotherapist and to explore if there is going to be a professional match, to work on the client's needs and goals.
