I work with clients of all ages, but especially enjoy working with adolescents and young adults to target issues such as anxiety, depression, and self-concept using Cognitive-Behavioral and Existential therapies.
My focus
I work with clients of all ages but have the most experience – and success – with teens and young adults, targeting problematic thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that prevent them from becoming the person they want to be. These problematic perspectives can manifest as overwhelming emotions, poor boundaries and many more.
My approach
I approach psychotherapy by creating a professional and helping relationship that feels like a friendship that helps me understand a client’s view of their reality. I most often use Cognitive-Behavioral techniques and the Behaviorist perspective, but can also integrate Existential, Reality, and Solution-Focused tactics to help clients.
