Hi there, I'm Angel!

I am a professional counselor licensed in Louisiana with over 8 years of counseling experience. I love spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy Cajun food, love to cook, and I am an adventurer. working with individuals who struggle with eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, and addictions. My therapy style is warm and accepting. I believe in treating individuals with respect, compassion, and empathy. I use a variety of approaches such as cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, narrative, eclectic, internal family systems, faith based, and rational emotive therapies. Each client is unique; therefore, we work together to develop a treatment plan that will meet your specific needs. It takes courage to seek help for a better life and take the first steps towards healing, freedom, and change. I am here to support and empower you on your journey of healing.

My journey to mental healthcare

What attracted me to a career as a therapist is I have always had a heart for helping others and serving others. I have experienced emotional healing and want to bring that healing to others. What drives me to do this work is watching people grow and heal from their past hurts.

I approach goal setting with my clients by assessing their needs and identify areas of growth that are needed. After that, we start working together to identify goals.
