Hi there, I'm Herma!

I bring a nonjudgmental and individualized approach to providing evidence-based care for my clients. I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, psychosis, bipolar disorder, ADHD, substance use disorders, and other mental health conditions.

My focus

I care for clients 18 years old and above with various psychiatric disorders, including Depression, Anxiety, ADHD, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, Substance use Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, and Insomnia.

My approach

Clients will experience an individualized approach, which may consist of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, or Psychodynamic theories. Medication management and or psychotherapy may also be applied.

My communication style

My sessions are inviting, nonjudgmental, and a safe space for conversations with the goal of developing a treatment plan with the total involvement of the client.

My journey to mental healthcare

The lack of care for individuals with psychiatric disorders drove my pursuit of this profession, with the intent of filling the gap and eradicating stigmatization. My drive is consistent with clients and their loved ones feeling safe, attaining the best care, being accepted, and obtaining stability.
