My journey to mental healthcare
Working in the mental health field provides me the opportunities to give others life-changing support. I am able to offer compassion, inspire hope, and teach the skills needed to overcome challenges. I work with people of all ages on issues such as stress, trauma, or self-esteem. What drives me to do this work is the joy of chipping away the stigma surrounding mental health by providing education to my clients and seeing them thrive.
My goals for you
I work with clients who may be struggling with their mental health. During our initial sessions, we will delve deeply into the issues at hand, and collaborate to create a plan for addressing them in a way that helps you get your life back. Most of my clients see a gradual lifting of symptoms within the first month and sustained improvement thereafter.
My first session with you
Feeling anxious about seeing a provider is a common feeling, but don’t let those fears interfere with you getting the help and treatment that you deserve and need. Having a general understanding of what kinds of questions will be asked and topics that will be discussed can definitely alleviate some of your concerns and make you feel more comfortable at your first appointment. I ask general questions about your mental and physical health. I will want to know about your family history and health. After talking about your health, we will then dive into your reasons for your visit. I always rely on evidence-based practice in arriving at treatment plans for my clients. I provide unique person-centered mental health services to children, adults, and elderly populations with complex disorders.
