Not currently accepting patients

Hi there, I'm Delora!

Hello, my name is Delora Evans LPC-S, LCDC. I have been in the therapy/counseling field for over 20 years. I believe that people may sometimes need help in many areas of their lives, therefore I treat them with a person-centered, holistic approach.

My approach

With a person-centered approach, the therapist treats the whole person and is instrumental to the changes of the client but is not directly responsible for any change. One of my biggest strengths is that I have an enthusiastic and motivating personality. I am empathetic, compassionate, and humanistic in my approach to helping.

My focus

The Person-Centered Therapist gently guides clients to break self-imposed barriers that block self-determination and growth. I integrate techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Reality and Solutions Focused Therapies to help clients challenge maladaptive thinking patterns. I work with men and women.

My communication style

One of my biggest strengths is that I have an enthusiastic and motivating personality. I am empathetic, compassionate, and humanistic in my approach to helping.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been interested in people and how I can best help them. Being a Therapist helps me to help others.

My goals for you

I encourage Clients to set S.M.A.R.T goals...specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and time-sensitive.

My first session with you

To establish rapport, get to know each other, to learn something new, to grow
