Hi there, I'm Jennifer!

I like to help clients so that their future is bright. I enjoy working with couples, families and individual therapy. I also like to facilitate groups to learn new skills.

My approach

short evidence-based therapy to allow clients to learn the skills that they need, then use in their own life.

My focus

I enjoy working with younger adults, adult couples, and women's issues. I can work with clients who have mental health or psychotic issues, personality disorders, and abuse and trauma. I work with people who suffer from depression and anxiety.

My communication style

I want to have a safe place for clients to express their emotions. I set boundaries for therapy. Clients help with every aspect to improve their life and help to write their treatment plan and to modify behaviors and complete their objectives.

My journey to mental healthcare

I found out about social work when my dad died of liver failure. She helped me and I wanted to be a social worker to help clients to have skills to have a better life.

My goals for you

We work on the treatment plan and clearly state objectives and modalities to use. The document will be updated so clients can see their progress.

My first session with you

Clients will be asked questions about their history. Social worker and client will meet to discuss problems and will write the treatment plan. It would be likely that client will have homework to work on mental health issues.
