Hello, my name is Ann Garrett. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor with over 8 years of clinical experience working with various needs.
My approach
I use a person-centered approach to tailor therapy to the individual. I used a variety of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
My focus
I work with a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, mood disorders, grief, and life stages.
My communication style
I actively listen and process with each client. I provide a safe and nurturing space for clients to heal.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have a desire to help others achieve their goals. I have had this desire since I was young and it led me to this path.

I work with you to establish the goals you want to work on in therapy and it is my goal to aid you in achieving your goals.
My first session with you
Our first session will be collaborative to establish your goals for therapy, answer any questions you may have, and build rapport to develop the therapeutic relationship.
