Hi there, I'm Victoria!

I am a dedicated Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California. Through the convenience of telehealth, I have the privilege of extending my counseling services to children, adolescents and adults alike.

My approach

In my therapeutic approach, I integrate various evidence-based modalities to support your well-being and growth. I draw upon Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic, and Client-Centered Therapy to support you in achieving self-awareness and finding effective solutions to the challenges you may face.

My focus

In my professional practice, I specialize in providing guidance and support to a diverse clientele, primarily consisting of children, adolescents and adults. My clients often struggle with a range of challenges, including socio-emotional difficulties, behavioral concerns, substance abuse, relationship issues, trauma, and addiction. I am well-versed in addressing these complex issues and strive to offer effective strategies and interventions tailored to your unique circumstances. By staying informed and up-to-date on the latest research and therapeutic approaches, I am able to provide comprehensive and compassionate care to help you navigate and overcome these obstacles.

My communication style

My communication style is to attentively and empathetically listen without passing judgment, to ensure that you feel understood and valued. My goal is to create a safe space for you to discover yourself on your unique and personal journey and to feel that you are being heard and supported.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path towards becoming a therapist started during my formative years, driven by a deep curiosity to comprehend the complexities of human behavior and a genuine aspiration to make a positive impact in the lives of others. I consider it a privilege to hold the role of a trusted confidant for individuals seeking therapeutic support. The gratification from witnessing the remarkable transformations that unfold within my clients as they embrace their inherent potential is immeasurable.

My goals for you

My primary goal for you is to facilitate personal growth, well-being, and recovery by providing a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. My aim is to assist you in gaining insight into your challenges, developing coping strategies, and improving your overall mental health and quality of life. Together, we will work towards achieving your therapeutic objectives.

My first session with you

Our first session will serve as an opportunity for me to not only familiarize myself with you but also promote a foundation of trust between us. Additionally, it will allow us to determine if we can potentially form a harmonious therapeutic partnership. If you are seeking a warm and professional counselor who will listen attentively and work collaboratively with you to overcome life's challenges, I am here to support you. Please don't hesitate to reach out to schedule an appointment. I am honored to have the opportunity to assist you on your path to emotional well-being.
