I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Qualified Clinical Supervisor for social work interns. I specialize in children and family therapy, I have over a decade of experience working within the child welfare system, community mental health, substance abuse, and educational settings. Clients also have the option to integrate a unique, Christian counseling approach into any therapy session.
My approach
I have adopted a holistic approach using an eclectic mix of interventions such as Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and Play/Art Therapy techniques. Creative interventions are employed to heal, restore and transform lives.

I work alongside couples, individuals, and families seeking help through counseling. I offer virtual sessions.

My communication style is open, empathetic, and insight-oriented. My clients feel supported over the years and have built a strong therapeutic alliance where they can grow and change if needed.
My journey to mental healthcare
My own traumatic experience led me to gain respect for a profession that inspires growth and change. My own therapist created an environment that led me on my own journey to learn more and explore the field of social work and the many opportunities that come along with this profession.

My approach is client-centered and goals are derived from areas of concern identified by the client.
My first session with you
Clients will be offered a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment where they can identify and discuss their presenting areas of concern and receive empathy and an opportunity to gain insight and understanding.
