Maren Pinder

Welcome! My name is Maren Pinder, and I am a licensed clinical social worker or LCSW for short. To put it simply, being human is hard! Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, finding it difficult to manage your mood, experiencing conflict in your relationships, or have been feeling overwhelmed with life, I am here to help! My office is a safe space for you to heal, grow, and learn the skills you need to live a fulfilling life.

My approach

I take a client-centered, integrative approach to therapy. That means together, we will identify your goals for therapy and explore the best point of practice to meet your needs. We are not meant to take this journey alone; we all need a little support sometimes! Common practices I use include emotion-focused therapy, Cognitive behavioral therapy, Dialectical behavioral therapy techniques, and mindfulness. I am trained at level 1 in Gottman Therapy. Not sure which point of practice is right for you? Don't worry! This is something we will go over together. I will always keep you informed of the methods and practices I use and explain why I believe they are effective in meeting your needs.

My focus

As a trained LCSW, I have several years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and couples. I have a passion for helping people feel confident in their ability to manage life’s stressors, reduce anxiety, improve their mood, increase self-awareness, and build healthy relationships within themselves and with others.

My communication style

I consider myself to be approachable yet professional as I strive to create a comfortable atmosphere where my clients feel safe to explore their innermost thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My office is a place where you can be yourself and feel supported. All are welcome.
