Hello, my name is DeCarlos Scippio. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Florida with 8 years of professional work experience. I have experience helping clients with trauma, abuse, motivation, self-esteem, confidence, anger, career difficulties, & depression. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment. My approach

As a therapist, I teach clients resiliency to help individuals overcome barriers and cope with everyday stressors. I use Talk Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults to address trauma, depression, behavioral problems, grief, self-esteem building, and life coaching.

Working as a therapist, I am able to use my skills and knowledge to help others. I derive great satisfaction from providing people with support and guidance as they work through difficult issues. I believe that I can make a difference in people's lives, and that is what gives me the passion and motivation to continue in this line of work.

My goals for you

I begin by having an initial discussion with the client to understand their needs and objectives. Then, I work with the client to create measurable goals that are realistic and achievable. These goals are then broken down into smaller, manageable tasks that the client can accomplish. Finally, I provide support and guidance to ensure the client meets their goals.

My first session with you

During my first session with my client, I will work to build rapport and trust and allow them to move at their own pace. We will also discuss why they are seeking counseling and treatment and explore their goals for therapy.
