Hi there, I'm Andromeda!

Ann Moodie, LMFT My eclectic and flexible approach allows me to address various interpersonal conflicts, particularly those surfacing within unique family dynamics. Focus areas of practice include anxiety, depression, trauma-related stressors, such as Childhood Sexual Abuse, relationship issues, and family relationship dynamics, such as blended/step-families.

My approach

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy to address traumas, including Childhood Sexual Abuse. I also draw from an eclectic approach that allows me the flexibility to address various interpersonal conflicts and unique experiences clients may face.

My focus

I typically work with individuals who identify as part of the BIPOC community and who experience acculturation issues, relationship problems, and blended family dynamics. I also work with individuals who suffer from various trauma of childhood abuse, including survivors of childhood sexual abuse.

I hold a safe space for vulnerability and growth. Each session is an invitation to embark on a journey of self-discovery and transformation. Together, we unravel the complexities that weigh heavy on the soul. Through genuine connection and tailored interventions, I offer meaningful therapy, empowering my clients to navigate their inner selves with clarity and resilience. With this, healing begins.

My journey to mental healthcare

As a first-generation American born to Caribbean immigrants, my unique upbringing and diverse family experiences ignited my passion to become a therapist. Through overcoming personal mishaps, I discovered the power of resilience and growth. I thrive on sharing my gift of offering alternative perspectives, guiding clients toward meaning, and promoting profound healing on their unique journeys.
