I humbly see therapy as a collaborative process every step of the way- from introductions to goal setting and through achieving short /long term goals. I do believe that each individual, couple, and family has a different way of relating to the world at large and I treat each person based on their unique individual needs& preferences. I use a plethora of therapeutic techniques that are designed to meet almost any treatment goal (e.g. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-CBT, Family Systems, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Dialectic Behavior Therapy-DBT).

My focus
I use discernment, humor, wisdom, and spirituality to change the lives of those that I serve- namely children, adults, couples, geriatric clients, PTSD survivors, those fighting substance abuse issues, and beyond.
My communication style
My therapeutic manner and tone are often VERY lively and jovial yet pensive when a situation calls for more seriousness. I enjoy connecting deeply with all of my clients. To date, I have had the privilege of aiding families with breaking intergenerational curses; couples come back from the brinks of divorce to enjoying healthy marriages once again and helping individuals learn/apply the steps necessary to live their best lives.
My journey to mental healthcare
I am a diverse and ethical leader and visionary who has taken great pride in overseeing large-scale behavioral health organizations throughout the state of Arkansas and Florida. Growing up in an economically repressed and crime-ridden area, I saw firsthand the devastating effects of substance abuse, untreated mental illness, PTSD, suicide, and premature deaths along with the stigma(s) about seeking help, and wanted to become a part of the solution thus I pursued a career in mental health.

My first session with you
When you get to the office or telehealth session, expect to be greeted with enthusiasm and an initial icebreaker exercise for the sake of us building some initial rapport and familiarity. Then, we will go on a clinical journey together to best understand what has led you to therapy.
