My approach
My approach emphasizes skill-building, self-knowledge, and balance. I utilize techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based approaches and others, tailoring my approach to your unique needs.
My focus
I specialize in helping individuals and minors aged 13-17 deal with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, relationship issues, and more. My experience spans assisting people navigate the challenges that accompany adolescence and adulthood.

I view my role as being part of your team, where we work together collaboratively to determine what is best for you. Through this partnership, I believe positive changes can occur.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to mental healthcare began with earning my Masters of Arts (MA) degree from Chapman College. I then accrued my clinical hours for licensure from 1996 to 1999 at Midstate Behavioral Health in Meriden, CT. I have now been a therapist in various settings for about 20 years.
