Stacy Schmoll has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from McNeese State University and received her Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of South Florida. Stacy promotes and embraces the practice of mindfulness and gratitude, the value of human connection, and the importance of finding meaning in one's life. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, camping, volunteering, and spending time with her family.
My approach
Stacy's practice is grounded in person-centered, developmental, and relational-cultural theories, and she frequently uses mindfulness, body-centered, and psychodynamic interventions. Stacy believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship. She genuinely values the importance of building rapport with clients and supports clients in finding a therapist they feel is a good fit for them based on their individual treatment needs and goals. Stacy believes in the inherent resilience of the human spirit and embraces a strengths-based lens when working with individuals who have experienced grief and loss as well as other challenges and stressors. She hopes to help you engage and enhance your capacity for introspection, reflection, and self-awareness to better understand and navigate your past, present, and future, allowing you to feel empowered and hopeful despite grief, loss, and hardships.

I love what I do! Being a therapist is more than a job--it reflects a core part of me that enjoys getting to know people at a real level. As a therapist, I guide people through personal challenges, help ease emotional burdens, and empower people to achieve a healthier mind.
