Quentina Farrell

Hello, My name is Quentina Farrell, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I am very passionate about helping my clients reach their goals on their journey to healing.

My approach

My approach is client-centred and meeting them where they are at. If very empathetic but will also give you the push you may need to reach your goals. I work collaboratively with my clients and always do my best to make sure you have the best care.

My focus

I typically work with adults 18 and older. I have experience working with substance use disorders, depression and anxiety.

My communication style

I have an open communication policy with my clients. My clients know that they can discuss anything with me, including if they are ever offended by something I say. The majority of my clients say that I have a Laissez-faire approach but am always honest with them about their care.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a social worker because I went through some trauma and know what it feels like to find yourself in a dark place. Through hard work, therapy, and support, I was able to find my way into the light. I strive to help others on their journey to healing and find their light.

My goals for you

I always start by asking what my client's goal is for their recovery. Then we explore the steps the client feels they must take to reach the goal. From there, the client and I will develop treatment plan goals.

My first session with you

The first session will be us talking and me learning more about your treatment goals. I will inform you of my expectations and give you the opportunity to share what your expectations are of me.
