Erin Casey

Hello! My name is Erin. I have been a Social Work practitioner since 2012 and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 2015. I have entered into this practice with a somewhat eclectic background, having worked in many settings including in and outpatient dual diagnosis, crisis intervention and hospitalization, medical social work, clinical practice within the juvenile justice system, and school social work.

As a therapist, my approach is client-centered and solution-focused. I believe these therapies are most beneficial, though the specific solution may vary depending on your individual challenges and whether it is achieved independently or with loved ones. Regardless, I am here to support you in your endeavors and success.

My focus

I work with clients of all ages, ranging from 3 to 99 years old. My specialties include addiction, adolescents/teens, anxiety, bipolar disorder, coping skills, dual diagnosis, mood disorders, and school issues.

When working with you, I will meet you where you are and help build or rebuild your foundation of strength. My communication style is supportive as I assist you in improving your mental health and well-being.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to mental healthcare has spanned a decade as a social work practitioner, with the past seven years as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I earned my Master of Science degree from Florida State University. My varied background working in different settings like dual diagnosis treatment, crisis intervention, medical social work, the juvenile justice system, and schools has shaped my eclectic approach.

My goal is to help you improve your mental well-being, build your inner strength, and find solutions to navigate the challenges you face. I aim to empower you with coping skills and support your success in overcoming difficulties.

In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to build a supportive relationship. I will seek to understand your unique situation, challenges, and goals. Together, we will start to develop a plan to help you move forward and improve your mental health and well-being. You can expect me to listen attentively, ask questions to gain clarity, and provide guidance to start you on your therapeutic journey.
