Hi there, I'm Rachel!

I am a person-centered, strengths-based clinician with experience providing counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults in community and private practice settings. My therapeutic approach is compassionate and authentic, focused on connecting with clients and helping them develop towards personal empowerment and emotional stability.

My approach

My approach to therapy employs integrative interventions including CBT, DBT, TF-CBT and others, tailored to each client's unique needs. I utilize excellent assessment and evaluation skills to quickly establish rapport and provide effective support for issues such as anxiety, depression, mood and personality disorders, sexual dysfunction, trauma, and other mental health diagnoses.

My focus

I work with individuals, couples, families, and minors aged 13-17. My specialties include anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, borderline personality, codependency, coping skills, trauma, PTSD, anger management, bipolar disorder, family conflict, grief, suicidal ideation, LGBTQIA+ issues, and relationship issues.

My communication style is compassionate, authentic, and focused on truly hearing and understanding each client's struggles and needs. I am a passionate advocate, working to help clients feel empowered and emotionally stable through our therapeutic relationship.

My goal is to provide you with a safe, supportive space to process your experiences, build coping skills, gain self-awareness, and work towards positive change and growth. I aim to tailor my approach to your unique needs, helping you feel truly heard, understood, and empowered in our work together.

My first session with you

In our first session, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and begin to build a trusting therapeutic relationship. I will gather some background information and we will collaboratively identify your goals. My focus will be on understanding your needs, explaining my approach, and ensuring you feel safe and supported as we begin our work together.
