Hi there, I'm Shequita!

My name is Shequita Moxey. My preferred name is Paige Moxey. I am a licensed professional counselor with a national certification in counseling (NCC) in Georgia. I have nine years of experience as a therapist and mental health assessor. I have worked in community mental health agencies and a mental health hospital.

My focus

I empower women, teenagers, and children to overcome trauma, reduce anxiety, reduce depression, control mood, and control ADHD.

As for my communication style, I like to present an assertive style. My tone of voice is calm and relaxed. I am able to build rapport with you effectively. You will be able to open up and feel comfortable sharing your life stories.

My late brother led me to want to be a therapist. I have the gift of wanting to help others. I believe that everyone is able to heal and get on a journey to a healthier lifestyle. I want to see you improve your well-being and mental health. Let's work together.

My goals for you

I will assist you in identifying goals that you would like to accomplish in therapy. We will discuss plans to accomplish your goals by holding yourself accountable. We will also discuss your diagnoses and develop goals together. As time progresses, we will change treatment plan goals as needed.

In the first session, we will focus on what brought you to therapy. We will complete the initial session of gathering your history.
