I am Myeaka Rousseau, a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Louisiana and Georgia.

My approach

I utilize a holistic theoretical approach. I am certified in DBT and trauma treatment.

My focus

Clients and Issues treated include; ages 13-65, behavioral issues, mood/anxiety disorders, relationships/workplace issues, trauma/stress-related issues, depression/grief, self-harm/suicidal thoughts, and substance use disorder.

My communication style

Our therapy sessions will be an opportunity for you to explore personal experiences in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Goals for treatment are set based on client needs and are usually established by the third session.

A first session is meant for getting to know each other. After reviewing a couple of documents, you will have a chance to learn more about me as you decide what and how much you would like to share.
