Hi there, I'm Chloé!

Chloé is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Georgia, but originally from New Jersey. The warm weather and relaxed pace bought her down south. She has worked in college mental health counseling for the past five years, and has previously provided counseling services in inpatient and partial hospitalization programs as well. Her clinical interests include anxiety, identity development, life transitions, relationships, and eating disorders. Her counseling style weaves together her calm nature and principles from acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches.

My approach

Chloé approaches therapy with an open mind and compassionate heart. She draws from several theoretical approaches, including acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, insight-oriented therapy, mindfulness, and strengthens-based therapy. These approaches are tailored to each individual client and adjusted based on client preference. Chloé will never use an approach that she has not tried or found success with on her own!

My focus

Chloé primarily works with young adults ages 18 - 35. She often works with clients on identity development, life stressors, life transitions, relationships, boundaries, self-esteem, self-confidence, and connection to self and others. She also often works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, suicidal ideations, self-harm, and disordered eating.

My communication style

Chloé creates a warm and inviting environment for her clients. She employs a person-centered approach which means she encourages clients to choose the focus of their sessions, provides a clinical space free of judgment, and focuses on building connection with clients. She has been told that she has a soothing voice and peaceful presence as well.

My goals for you

Chloé approaches goal setting with a collaborative spirit! She empowers clients to set their own goals, and centers therapeutic work around those goals.

My first session with you

Our first session is a time for me to get to know you better. I will ask you questions about yourself, your mental health history, and your reasons for seeking therapy. Then we will set a couple of goals for our future work together. We will also have time for any questions you might have about therapy or me!
