Hi there, I'm Allena!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Georgia. I have dedicated my career to helping individuals overcome symptoms of depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and life-changing medical diagnoses.

My approach

My therapeutic approach draws on the fundamentals of CBT, DBT, IPI, MI and solution-focused therapy. I believe that treatment methodologies are not one size fits all, however, my warmth and empathy are shared with everyone.

My focus

I have experience treating individuals ages 18 and older. I treat clients battling depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and life-changing medical diagnoses. I have also helped individuals facing issues related to racial, ethnic and gender discrimination.

My communication style is warm and empathetic. I provide a nonjudgmental space for my clients.

I deeply care about helping individuals discover the power they hold within. I am driven by seeing my clients achieve their goals.

My first session with you

During the first session, I will introduce myself to my clients. I will make certain to discuss standard procedures for scheduling appointments, confidentiality, and communicating between sessions. I will ask my clients lots of questions to learn a bit about their history as well as discover their goals for treatment.
