Hi there, I'm Cheryl!

I understand that asking for help isn’t easy… And life doesn’t always work out the way we’ve planned. When navigating life's challenges, finding a therapist you feel comfortable with is extremely important. I believe in creating a space that is supportive and nonjudgemental while allowing the development of a trusting and connected therapeutic relationship. My goal is to help you explore the growth and balance you are seeking in creating a happy and meaningful life. With more than 20 years of experience as a Professional Counselor, I use a combination of theoretical approaches to fit the needs of the person sitting in front of me. I enjoy working collaboratively with clients and helping them to discover greater significance and purpose in their lives. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia. I received my Bachelor of Science (B.S) degree in Psychology from the California State University of Bakersfield, CA, and a Master of Professional Counseling (M.A.) degree from Georgia State University, Atlanta GA. I gained my clinical experience working in Community Mental Health, Residential Treatment Centers, and Private Practice. I have worked extensively with children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with Life Transitions, Anxiety, Depression, Self-Discovery, Relationship with self, Relationships with others, Substance Abuse, Parenting concerns, Trauma, and Grief.
