I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Specialization in Christian Sex Therapy. I was a counselor at a behavioral health hospital for seven years and a caseworker for Child Protective Services prior to receiving my professional license. I received a Master of Professional Counseling from Richmont Graduate University in 2005 and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2000.
My approach
Being a counselor allows me the privilege of walking with someone in the midst of their struggles all the way to healing. I aim to provide an environment that is safe and encourages clients to be themselves, free of judgment. I favor Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and the Client-Centered approach.
My focus
I welcome working with clients battling anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, anger management, and sexual-related issues such as abuse/assault/dysfunction/addiction who are looking to make positive changes both emotionally and behaviorally.

Maintain eye contact, calm atmosphere, good listening, reassuring tone.

During the first session, we will review the client’s intake information, identify the areas of concern, and discuss general goals for therapy.
