I am licensed in Georgia with 8 years of professional work experience in mental health settings engaging diverse client populations including incarcerated juveniles, battered women, veterans, and adults with dual diagnosis. Working in the mental health field gives me the opportunity to make a difference in society
My approach
I believe that you are the expert on your story and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process
My focus
I typically work well with clients from all backgrounds. I meet my clients where they are by accepting and caring for them as they are. Some conditions I'm most comfortable treating are trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and coping with life changes.
My communication style
I create a positive environment for learning and healing in sessions with clients. I am empathetic, very accepting, give recognition, provide active/reflective listening, offer hope and humor, confronting, reflecting, summarizing, and unconditional positive regard.
My journey to mental healthcare
I believe that I was born to help others. I care deeply for others and want to help them improve their mental health. I feel rewarded and satisfied when I help others grow to become their better self.

During your first session, we will spend some time getting to know each other. We will also discuss what brought you to therapy, your current/past symptoms, and discuss your expectations for therapy.
