My approach
My approach is warm and nonjudgmental. I believe in a holistic and person-centered approach to therapy, recognizing that each individual is unique and possesses their own strengths and resources. I integrate evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based approaches to foster self-awareness, enhance coping skills, and promote positive change.
My focus
I have experience in treating a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, stress management, grief, relationship issues, and life transitions. I work with individuals from diverse backgrounds and tailor my approach to meet each of their unique needs and goals.

I use a variety of therapeutic modalities and continue to stay updated with the latest research and techniques in the field of counseling.
My journey to mental healthcare
I was first drawn to a career as a therapist while working in Corporate America. I found that I was a good listener and my desire to help others came naturally. I also enjoy working with people and helping them to understand themselves better. After a decision to switch career paths, I went on to get my master's degree in professional counseling. I then worked in a variety of settings, including inpatient residential, private practice, and community-based services. I have had the opportunity to work with people of all ages and backgrounds, and I have learned so much from each and every one of them. What drives me to do this work is the feeling of making a difference in someone's life. I love seeing the light bulb go on when a client finally understands something about themselves or their situation. I also love being able to provide support and guidance to people who are going through a difficult time.
