As a therapist, I bring a relatable approach that allows me to partner with clients to facilitate the changes necessary for promoting positive mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual outcomes. I am passionate about empowering clients, especially women, to find their voice and live their best lives.
My approach
My therapeutic approach challenges clients to push out of their comfort zones in order to operate at their optimal level. This can mean addressing current and past life challenges that have served as barriers to growth and well-being. I believe change is necessary for growth and I encourage my clients to trust the process.
My focus
I specialize in working with women, specifically those in caretaking roles either personally or professionally. My focus is on teaching them to implement radical self-care and empowering them to find their voice.
My communication style
I communicate with my clients in a direct but compassionate way. I aim to create a safe space where clients feel heard and supported, while also being challenged to grow and make positive changes.
My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to mental healthcare began with earning my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Clark Atlanta University. From June 2009 to August 2012, I completed my clinical hours for licensure at Underdue Social Service in Stockbridge, GA and View Point Health in Covington, GA. These experiences solidified my passion for partnering with clients to overcome challenges and live fulfilling lives.
My goals for you
My goal for each client is to help them develop the self-awareness, coping skills and resilience needed to navigate life's challenges with confidence. I strive to empower clients to find their inner strength, use their voice, and create the positive changes they desire in their lives.
