My name is Lina Muñoz and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Atlanta, Georgia, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I provide trauma-informed therapy to youth, adults, and families from different cultural backgrounds.
My approach
My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client and family I work with. I most frequently use a systemic and psychodynamic approach, as both modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of the underlying issues and elements that are limiting their functioning, taking into consideration personal and environmental factors that influence behavior and performance. I allow special emphasis on the emotional experiences of my clients and how these emotional experiences inter-relate and impact their relationships.
My focus
I have found that my style and approach is a good fit for adults who may be dealing with the challenges resulting from the experience of trauma in their life. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, and relational problems. I work to help my clients navigate these experiences and to build skills to allow them to feel better about themselves and develop a more positive outlook on life.

I take a warm and supportive approach while also holding my clients accountable for meeting their goals.
