Hi, I am Ms. Reed, a family and marriage therapist licensed in Georgia with six years of experience working as a therapist. I have a passion for helping others and the willingness and reliability to assist with each client's concerns.
My approach
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, family systems therapy, person-centered and solution-focused therapy. I will tailor our sessions and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.
My focus
I have worked with clients with various concerns, including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, blended families, and military adjustments. I also helped many people who had experienced trauma or emotional abuse.
My communication style
My therapy style is warm and interactive. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have been married as a veteran's spouse for five years, and we share a blended family of 4 children. I also know child development stages as I worked as a teacher of various ages for over five years, which led me to want to help families with their communication, intimacy, and children. I earned my Master of Arts in Marriage Family Counseling and completed my clinical hours for licensure from 2017-2021 at counseling centers in the Atlanta area.
My goals for you
It takes a lot of courage to seek a more fulfilling and happier life and take the first steps toward change. When you are ready to take that step, I am here to support and empower you.
