As a therapist, I am dedicated to helping you achieve your goals and improve the quality of your life. My approach to counseling is eclectic/integrative and based upon a person's individual needs while being empathetic, non-judgmental, and easy to talk to.
My approach
I primarily draw upon cognitive-behavioral therapy, humanism, systems theory, strengths-based theory, trauma-informed care, and psycho-education. My modalities include Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Cognitive Processing (CPT), EMDR, Culturally Sensitive, Eclectic, Exposure Response Prevention, Humanistic, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Trauma Focused, Strength-Based, Prolonged Exposure Therapy, and Client Centered Therapy.
My focus
I am willing to see individuals and minors ages 13-17. Much of my recent experience has been with military populations and members of the LGBTQ+ community. My specialties include ADHD (especially in teens and adults), anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, anger management, bipolar disorder, childhood abuse, grief, gender identity, sexual orientation, relationship issues, and many others.

My communication style is empathetic, non-judgmental, and easy to talk to. I aim to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel comfortable opening up and sharing your thoughts and feelings.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Georgia in 2010. Since graduating and entering the field, I have gathered broad clinical experience in both the United States and the United Kingdom. I have worked extensively with children and teens in foster care, clients in various medical settings, as well as in private practice.
