Hi! I am Amy Bond and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia. I work with older adolescents and adults in the context of individual therapy. I am passionate about seeing people overcome challenges and embrace their full, true selves. It is an honor to witness the courage and resilience of my clients.

My approach is very pragmatic. I will not just sit and listen. I understand the terrain of the mind and how to help it change. I am trained in several approaches that can create new insights about your feelings and behaviors.
My focus
I specialize in working with people who feel overwhelmed by the changing world around them. I help my clients find new grounding, hope, and healing. I also help my clients understand their triggers and learn new coping skills.

My clients have described me as kind, calming, patient, supportive, funny, direct, idiosyncratic, and rebellious.
My journey to mental healthcare
Becoming a therapist is rooted in the loss of my mother at the age of 10. Walking the path of healing has left an indelible passion for helping others.
My goals for you
Collaboratively, we will create a tailored plan based on your needs that may include helping you clarify your desires, learn new tools for communication, and identify unhealthy patterns in thought and in behavior, as they unfold.
My first session with you
Together we will understand what you want to experience and what feels like it is holding you back. We will then develop a practical plan to learn new tools and practice new behaviors that can help you get unstuck and, on the path, to living life.
