I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Georgia with over 7 years of experience. While my dreams and aspirations may seem bigger than life itself, people who know me would say: "She would like to save the world," and I would have to agree.
My approach
I provide a strengths-based approach in therapy and have the ability to think critically even during times of crisis. My modalities include Strength-Based, Solution Focused, Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative, and Compassion Focused therapy. I try to keep the process interesting and effortless to ease any tension you may have.
My focus
I am willing to see Individuals, Couples, Families, and Minors (ages 13-17). My specialties include Aging, Anxiety, Trauma and PTSD, Career Counseling, Coping Skills, Depression, Relationship Issues, Grief, Job Stress, Life Coaching, and Life Transitions.
My communication style
I am admired for my communication style, which provides a strengths-based approach. I am a major advocate for self-love and emotional well-being. Additionally, it is very important to me to offer a safe and comfortable space for all my clients.
My journey to mental healthcare
Part of my journey to mental healthcare included gaining clinical experience at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia from May 2017 to May 2019.
My goals for you
My goal is to help you breathe easier! While there is a stigma behind therapy in which some believe "It's all talk," I aim to make the process interesting, effective and tailored to your needs. I look forward to working with you and supporting your emotional well-being and personal growth.
