Hi there, I'm Elizabeth!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly two decades of experience, I am dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges. With a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Louisiana State University and a Master of Counseling and Guidance from Louisiana Tech University, I have the knowledge and skills to provide effective, personalized care.

My approach

I use an integrative approach, tailoring treatment services to meet each client's unique needs and clinical presentation. By combining various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Family Systems, and Person-Centered therapy, I strive to create a comprehensive and individualized treatment plan that fosters growth and healing.

My focus

I work with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral issues, divorce, self-esteem, parenting, stress management, interpersonal relationship conflicts, and life transitions. My patient focus extends to individuals and minors aged 13-17.

My communication style

I believe in creating a safe and non-threatening atmosphere where clients can communicate freely and tackle difficult situations. Through open, honest, and compassionate communication, I aim to build a strong therapeutic alliance that empowers clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to mental healthcare began with a deep passion for helping others and a desire to make a positive impact on people's lives. Driven by this purpose, I pursued my education in psychology and counseling, gaining the knowledge and skills necessary to support individuals and families through their most challenging times.

My goals for you

My primary goal is to help you find joy, purpose, and healing. Whether you are facing a crisis or seeking to improve your overall well-being, I am committed to providing the guidance, support, and tools you need to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and lead a fulfilling life.

My first session with you

During our first session, we will focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and understanding. I will take the time to listen to your story, gain insight into your unique challenges and goals, and collaborate with you to develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your needs and preferences.
