Hi there, I'm Dominique!

Hi, my name is Dominique Roumain, LCSW. I am a licensed clinical therapist (LCSW) I began my work in the mental health/social service field in 1998. I have since worked in multiple community-based and private settings with multiple populations, which has afforded me the opportunity to expand my knowledge base. My particular interest and expertise are working with individuals suffering from anxiety and depression, grief/loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and women’s issues. I would like to provide you with the support you need in a non-judgmental setting, through which you will gain personal insight, identity, and change problematic patterns and behaviors, and deepen your personal relationships with others. Maybe you just feel “stuck” and need someone to talk with to help you gain more insight, I am here for you. My approach is genuine, encouraging, energetic, and insightful. Throughout the course of therapy, we will focus on the areas that you identify are problematic, enhance your insight, and generate change and growth regarding the issues that you present. My goal is to empower my clients to live their best lives. I meet you where you are at, as well as challenge you when needed. My therapy approach combines different modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered, Insight Therapy, and Mindfulness approaches. I am very laid back and can tailor my approach to fit your needs. The therapy process can be daunting initially, but I am here to help you every step of the way.
