I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of clinical experience in the school system, at a large Christian mental health clinic, and in private practice. I am currently only available to patients with insurance.
My approach
I primarily utilize cognitive behavioral therapy but integrate other approaches as appropriate and desired, including art and other creative therapeutic techniques. I also specialize in Christian Counseling for those who are interested.
My focus
I love working with clients who would like help with anxiety and stress, navigating parenting, assertiveness/healthy communication, breaking the OCD cycle, and exploring issues of faith. I have a passion for helping women/girls understand their worth. I am also only available to patients with insurance.
My communication style
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and relational, and I strongly believe in being authentic with my clients. My tone is compassionate, and encouraging and conveys a sense of hope.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have always felt a passion for and calling to help others, rooted strongly in my faith and values. This led me to pursue the training and skills needed to assist others in breaking free of their struggles. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work along with additional training to obtain my License in Clinical Social Work.
My goals for you
I always want my clients to feel supported through any new challenges and confident that they are steadily moving toward their goals for therapy. I love helping clients develop a sense of confidence and hope as they face any trial.
My first session with you
I begin by listening and asking questions to gain a full picture of both the challenge being faced and what my clients hope to gain from therapy. Then, I help my clients begin to envision a viable path to achieving their goals.
