Hi there, I'm Candyce!

I am an Army Veteran, licensed clinical professional counselor, and nationally certified counselor through the NBCC with over 6 years of direct individual/group practice licensed in Illinois and overall, 10 years of experience working in a crisis, substance use, and mental health counselor in the field. I also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse. My counseling style is very welcoming and inviting. I believe in honoring the values of respect, sensitivity, compassion, and empathy, and embracing a holistic point of view to promote mental wellness. I will customize our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs. It takes courage to take the steps towards a more fulfilling and happier life and embrace change.
