Welcome to my practice. My name is Maggie Olivieri and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing psychodynamic psychotherapy for individuals. I help my clients understand their feelings so that they can learn to live more comfortably with the various challenges of life. Exploring earlier relationships and life experiences helps in understanding and managing feelings. With listening, empathy, and direct communication, I strive to help clients make the changes they long for. I earned my Bachelor of Arts from The University of California Berkeley and my Master's of Social Work from, Loyola University of Chicago. My clinical training was in inpatient psychiatric treatment settings as well as outpatient community counseling center. The success of therapy is all about the relationships I build with my clients. With respect, listening, empathy, and honesty, I help individuals feel better over time and make changes in their lives. I care very deeply about the therapeutic process and the power it has to change lives.
