My name is Melody Wilson and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Illinois (149020514) and Indiana (34008279A). I work with clients with various difficulties keeping them from being the best person they want to be.
My approach
I like to approach therapy from a team approach, meaning that I am no expert on you but more like a guiding support. I use various modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused approaches to help you to reach your goals.
My focus
I typically work with adults via telehealth. I also see clients in the form of individual, family, and couple therapy sessions. I work with clients with conditions such as depression and anxiety.
My communication style
I try to make the environment welcoming and friendly. I do this by bringing humor, warmth, and transparency to these sessions. My goal is to create a safe space for you at all times.
My journey to mental healthcare
I became a Therapist because of my passion for helping people become their best selves. Seeing growth achieved through our work together drives me to continue to work as a Therapist.
