My Name is Oliver M. Williams. I am a Clinical Social Worker in Illinois and Indiana. I also hold a doctorate degree in humanistic science with a focus on energy healing and life coaching. My approach is relational, as I feel that having a strong and positive relationship with my client is the key to making the experience comfortable, meaningful and productive.
My approach
My theoretical approach is eclectic, utilizing numerous evidence based strategies including cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal and positive psychology, and strength based therapy. I also utilize a firm application of the creative process as a way to navigate the change process.
My focus
The clients that I work with are typically dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, work related challenges, and stage of life issues. I am comfortable treating most behavioral health issues.
My communication style
Client typically feel very comfortable with me as I work on creating a welcoming and supportive environment.
