Hi there, I'm Hattie!

Hattie Williams 14761

My approach

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor. The most common theoretical approaches I use are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I will help you to think about things differently, which will help you to feel better and behave differently.

My focus

I typically work with females suffering from anxiety, depression, grief, and self-esteem issues. I also work with males with anxiety, depression, and anger management concerns.

My communication style

I have a calm, laid-back, non-threatening personality. I like to make my clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and free to express themselves without being judged. The clients feel heard and know that I am invested in their well-being. My clients realize they are not alone on their journey but that I am walking with them.

My journey to mental healthcare

I want to help individuals change the trajectory of their lives. My journey has been long and tedious, and I had to overcome many obstacles to get to this point. I successfully navigated life challenges with determination and the help of others. I want to help others do the same.

My goals for you

In collaboration with the client, based on their needs, I have the client work on 1-2 goals at a time. We periodically monitor their progress and move forward or continue until the client meets the objectives.

My first session with you

In the initial session, the client can expect a brief introduction, an opportunity to share their reason for coming to counseling, and many questions to obtain information about their past.
