Healing starts with accepting yourself and realizing you are accountable for your happiness. Many people on their life journey realize that their brain holds true many distorted messages that interfere with their pursuit of happiness. I assist my clients with finding out what's true and how to be their authentic selves. As a scholarly practitioner in Social Work, I motivate, inspire, and celebrate your ability to heal through acceptance, recognizing your strengths and the areas in your personality you need to understand.
My approach
As LCSW I use Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectal behavioral, and Trauma based therapies along with Psychotherapy to assist clients with achieving many of their treatment goals.
My focus
Many of the clients seeking my services share a need to be heard are trying to overcome a trauma that has caused them to feel stuck or is processing major changes in their life such as aging, addictions, sexual traumas, or seeking change in their perspective.
My communication style
I use Open and honest communication strategies to build confidence with the client. I have a democratic style of leadership and assist the client with finding consensus within themselves.

My goals for you
A successful goal of the LCSW is to assist the client with making real and permanent changes in their life. I seek to empower the person to take control of their experiences and parlay those experiences into finding out what is important and seeking what they need.
My first session with you
I follow a pattern of building a rapport, identifying what the client wants, developing a personal care plan, and exploring the client's needs and wants. I prepare the client for discharge early, so they keep their eye on their treatment goals and will be ready to move forward when they have reached their goals.
